Overview

The Faculty of Islamic Urban & Cemetery Planning is an innovative academic discipline that merges environmental design, sacred architecture, and spiritual ecology. It aims to cultivate a new generation of urban planners, environmental designers, and cemetery managers who apply Islamic ethics in the creation of serene, sustainable, and community-centered spaces.

This faculty explores how faith and function intersect in the built environment—focusing on mosques, neighborhoods, gardens, and burial grounds that reflect humility before God, respect for nature, and dignity for humanity. Graduates are trained to approach city and cemetery design as acts of *ʿibādah* (worship) and social service.
