Financial Aid & Scholarships
All admitted students are eligible to apply for AMISUN scholarships and financial aid under a range of merit- and need-based categories. Most awards cover up to 80 % of total program tuition. Applications must be submitted before the semester deadline and include supporting documents.
Scholarship & Grant Categories
- Presidential Merit Scholarship — for exceptional academic performance.
- Access & Opportunity Grant — for first-generation or low-income students.
- Women in STEM and Leadership Award — for women entering under-represented fields.
- Global Diversity Award — for students from developing regions or minority backgrounds.
- Humanitarian and Service Scholarship — for orphans, refugees, and community volunteers.
- Imam & Religious Leadership Scholarship — for practicing imams and Islamic educators.
- Second / Third-Generation Muslim Family Scholarship — encouraging continued pursuit of Islamic education among U.S. Muslim families.
- Waqf Endowment Scholars Program — for students sponsored through AMISUN’s global waqf fund.
- Interfaith Bridge Builders Grant — for students engaged in dialogue and peace work.
Scholarship results are announced each semester by the Office of Financial Aid.
Inclusive & Interfaith Scholarships (Open to All Students)
- Intercultural Understanding Scholarship: For non-Muslim students promoting mutual respect, social justice, and cooperation among diverse faith communities.
- Global Peace and Ethics Fellowship: Open to all backgrounds researching peacebuilding, comparative ethics, or moral philosophy through a universal human lens.
- Human Unity & Sustainable Development Grant: Supports students working on social equity, climate justice, and sustainable human development initiatives.
- Faith Diversity Scholarship: For non-Muslim students studying Islamic Civilization, Comparative Religion, or Interfaith Leadership.
- Humanitarian Collaboration Award: Recognizes those partnering with Muslim or faith-based organizations for relief and community projects.
- International Friendship & Exchange Grant: For visiting or exchange students fostering global understanding and cultural diplomacy.
- Academic Ally Award: Honors students advocating for religious freedom, inclusion, and equality within their academic or civic communities.
- Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution Scholarship: Supports learners promoting reconciliation and non-violent solutions to social and cultural divisions.

If transcripts are in English and aligned with the U.S. academic system, no additional evaluation is required. Seminary or non-accredited degrees may undergo AMISUN internal equivalency review or optional external evaluation.
